Who is this blog for?
Whomever. All are welcome. The impetus was to create a space to document the birth and early years of my daughter, ostensibly for far-flung family members and friends. Then A Den of Slack kind of morphed into a space for me to document my activities and thoughts, which seems to be more in line with the nature of a blog anyway.
Is it true that this is the fastest-growing blog on WordPress?
No, that is not true.
Is it true that you played semi-professional baseball for three years following college, including three months as the starting second baseman for the Cincinnati Reds’ AA farm team, the Chattanooga Lookouts?
No.
Is it true you once appeared on the Jumbotron at a Montreal Expos game?
Yes. That was me.
Hi Brendan,
I saw your Dad and (Linda?) in Wegman’s today….where else? Your Dad seems truly excited about Karina. I just read your Blog, and despite saying to your Day that it’s hard to picture the Kendal kid as a Dad, I am touched by your writing. You really are a Dad and seem to understand the momentous occasion of bringing a child into the world. So nice to keep in touch with you.
Karin
Brendan is being quite modest with his FAQ’s. He actually made an appearance on the Jumbotron in Montreal 4 times in one game. I have the pictures to prove it!
Thanks,
Fred
